Ocean Freight

Ocean freight is a method of transporting goods across the world by sea using large cargo ships. It is one of the most cost-effective means of shipping, especially for bulk goods, heavy equipment, or large quantities that would be expensive to send by air. Ocean freight can be divided into two main types: Full Container Load (FCL), where a single shipper's goods fill an entire container, and Less than Container Load (LCL), where goods from multiple shippers share the same container.

Key advantages of ocean freight include its affordability, capacity to carry large volumes, and ability to handle oversized or heavy cargo. However, it tends to be slower compared to air freight and can be subject to delays due to weather or port congestion. It's commonly used for international trade, and goods shipped via ocean freight often require coordination with port authorities, customs clearance, and possible inland transportation.
